Chinese Tales

The collection includes fifteen Chinese tales collected by American writer Norman Hinsdale Pitman (1876–1925) and translated into Russian by Dmitry Valeryevich Mochnev, as well as a Chinese legend titled "The White Snake" about the struggle between Taoist and Buddhist deities, translated by sinologist and orientalist Pavel Vasilyevich Shkurkin (1868–1943) with his numerous comments.
