In the series, less expensive pigments are used compared to the inorganic ones used in the «Master-Class» series. On the tube, the analogues are marked with the letter «A» and correspond to the colors of paints based on more expensive cadmium and cobalt pigments. «Ladoga» oil is popular among experienced artists sensitive to pricing, as it combines affordable cost and high quality. Some shades (for example, ochre, sienna, umber) are made from natural earth pigments.
