Russian Italy

Do you know that in Venice, the works... of Tchaikovsky and Brodsky are well-known, and in Florence, they love Dostoevsky? In the same Florence, you can find more than one place associated with the famous Demidov family. In the Eternal City, there are places linked to the names of Gogol and Bryullov. And in our century, new Russian sanctuaries are emerging on the shores of the Adriatic - in 2009, the consecration of the Russian Orthodox Church in the name of Saint Catherine took place on the grounds of the Russian embassy in Rome.
