Despite the desert climate, Dubai has created a unique flower park, Miracle Garden, which is considered the largest in the world. The artificial Palm Islands are the largest man-made archipelago in the world. The Dubai Metro is the longest fully automated rail network in the world. Another attraction is the three-kilometer Dubai Canal with a designated pedestrian area. The main attraction of the Mall of the Emirates shopping center is Ski Dubai - an artificial ski slope that operates year-round! Dubai is the first Arab city to have the honor of hosting the World Expo "Expo 2020".
