Frederica de Graaf - spiritual daughter of Archimandrite Anthony of Sourozh, has been serving for over 10 years in accompanying the dying and their relatives at the First Moscow Hospice. The author describes how to understand the suffering neighbor, their... feelings and fears, pain, despair, and loneliness, how to comfort, to be with them both in words and in silence, how to accompany them in those hours and minutes that may become the last and the most important in their life.
