Enough Time for Love, or The Life of Lazarus Long

The novel by Robert Heinlein is unusual both in its plot and in its structure. It is a symphonic novel. Do not be afraid, dear lovers of science fiction, it contains everything you should like - including science fiction. It is simply constructed according to musical canons - prelude, counterpoint, intermedii, and there are even variations on the theme.
Lazarus Long, known to readers since Heinlein's early work "Methuselah's Children", is a long-lived man, not to mention the oldest representative of the human race (at the time of the novel's action - 4325 Earth year - he has already passed two thousand (!!!) years), having journeyed from a cadet in the U.S. Navy to one of the richest people in the Galaxy.
