The Prince

The treatise by the Florentine political theorist and statesman Niccolò Machiavelli was written around 1513 but published only in 1532, five years after the author's death.
The foundation of the book is based on the author's observations of the methods of governing the political life of his era and the analysis of examples from ancient history. Based on this data, he was able to formulate and unite into a single treatise information about the state and its governance. Many of the conclusions of the Florentine thinker are still relevant today.
