We present to you the updated version of the expansion "Everdell: Pearl Creek"! In "Everdell: Pearl Creek Deluxe" you will find the following differences from the... original version:Instead of flat tiles, there are assembled constructions, like in the "Underwater Treasures" set (assembly diagram included in the set)22 mini-cards instead of 89 frog tokens instead of 624 tokens of various workers instead of 6 (6 of each type)Minimal changes in the rules"We did not always know about the creek. When we first camped at the roots of the Eternal Tree, we tried not to leave its boundaries, still feeling like strangers in these strange lands. Time passed, we ventured further, clearing our way through the dense thickets of the valley. One fine day, we assembled an expedition to learn more about the valley that had become our home. Day by day, we gradually advanced, and on the ninth day of our journey, we finally managed to break out of the forest and found ourselves by a winding, flowing creek. Letting out a joyful cheer, we rushed to its banks and drank of its pure waters..."
About the expansionDeep beneath the shimmering surface of Pearl Creek awaits a mysterious civilization of underwater inhabitants. You will need to send your frog ambassador on a diplomatic journey to exchange resources and information with the creek's residents: that is the only way you will obtain pearls. Once you gather enough pearls, you can build magnificent wonders of Everdell and create decorations that will make your city the pride of the entire valley!The "Pearl Creek" expansion not only adds new cards, pearl tokens, and new inhabitants – frogs and otters – to the game, but also increases the overall difficulty of the game.
About the game"Everdell" is a magical board game for 1-4 players and is the embodiment of warmth and coziness. The game takes place in a fairy tale world where animals talk and live together harmoniously in forest cities. First and foremost, the game will surprise you with its charming design of the game board and components, featuring soft and pleasant colors. At the head of the game board stands a real tree that needs to be assembled according to the instructions from cardboard elements. The tree does not just serve a decorative purpose – cards and figures are placed on its branches.Players will need to lead their city to prosperity. To do this, you must gather resources, build structures, equip animals for journeys, participate in events, visit competitors' cities, hide in shelters, etc. All to build the most prosperous city!The game also offers you a set of rules for solo play.
How to play?The entire game lasts four seasons, during which you must prepare your city. Players take turns performing various actions, but only one at a time:Place a worker – allows you to obtain resources.Play a card – a card is played on your field for a certain cost. In exchange, you can gain various advantages.Prepare for the season – the player moves to the next round-season, while players do not wait for each other and can continue the game at their own pace, following their strategy. When to move on depends only on you, but remember that at the end of the fourth season, the game ends for you.
Who won?A player's turn ends when they cannot or do not want to perform a new action. They no longer participate in the game but only watch the remaining players. Eventually, all players finish and count their points. The winner receives the victory card of Everdell!
