You can solve crosswords or Sudoku. You can get a second, third, or fifth higher education. Or you can play board games. And if you are reading this text, you have probably already chosen this path :)Cheese Chaos is one of those games that especially hardens your mind. It teaches you to look carefully, count quickly, instantly conduct logical chains, and rapidly search for the right card from the pile in your hand… Oh, and sometimes fight for cheese. What?Yes, if you thought this was a boring puzzle like those sometimes given to schoolchildren in math classes, you are gravely mistaken (whoosh!). Because a game of Cheese Chaos can easily end in a heated argument over who grabbed the wooden piece of cheese from the table first, and who snatched it from someone else's hands and is now feasting on someone else's misfortune.Logic and attentiveness are not enough here. You need to be the fastest! Well, or at least not the slowest, because the more often you arrive late to the common "table", the faster you will be knocked out of the game. All that will be left is to gnash your teeth and wait for luck to let down the others — to immediately start a new game and finally get back at it!How to play?It's simple here. Each player has seven lives. At the beginning of the round, one of you must roll the dice, which have all sorts of faces. And then — count the cheese!And this is where the difficulties begin. Firstly, from one to three pieces of cheese can appear on each die. Pay attention! Secondly, mice may appear. Each mouse eats one piece of cheese. But if cats appear, each one will catch a mouse. And each dog will chase away one cat… Unless the tavern owner comes and drives everyone out entirely!You will have to count from the end, and there will be no time for rechecking — because you need not just to accurately determine the amount of cheese but to do it as quickly as possible. Because there are always one less wooden cheese figures on the table than players. And whoever is last will be left without cheese — meaning they will lose a life. You also can't count randomly — each mistake takes away two lives. A nightmare.And how to prove that you were right in your calculations and didn’t just blurt out a random number? For this, you will need cards. And there is a special difficulty for your brain related to them: there are only four cards, but eight numbers: from 0 to 7. And you will have to not only quickly count cheese but also timely switch to your own cards to find the right one and show it the right way. Phew, your brain is really steaming!But even if this sounds too complicated, don’t be scared — in practice, it’s much simpler than it seems. And after just one defeat, you are sure to be filled with excitement and an unexpected love for speedy mental calculations. So, shall we cause some chaos?Game duration: from 10 to 30 minutes
