Welcome to the desert! Blooming cacti, cute eared fennecs, and a few snakes await you. "Oh, Thorns" is a fast-paced card game for children and... adults, where you will choose cacti and decide from which of the four sides to approach them, so as not to prick yourself and get a flower.

The more flowers, the more thorns - that's the main hint! To win, players must collect as many cactus flowers as possible: blue, white, purple, and the rarest ones - red. On their turn, a player chooses one of the cards on the table, takes hold of one of the four sides, and flips it over. If they grabbed the side with a thorn - they have to discard the card, but if there are no thorns, the flower replenishes the player's supply! Besides blooming cacti, funny eared fennecs live in the desert. Meeting them provides an extra turn. And if you get a little snake, the next player might give you a flower.

 Prepare the cactus valley by laying out a row of 6 cacti, with the remaining cards in a pile.On your turn, you choose one of the cards in the valley and announce to everyone which of the 4 sides of the card (left, right, bottom, or top) you will grab. Then flip the card over, holding it by the chosen side and evaluate the result.If you grabbed a thorn: "Oh-oh!" You pricked yourself and have to discard the card. If there are no thorns on your chosen side - place the card in your collection with the flowers facing up.If you encounter one of the desert animals on the back, perform the property of that card.The game ends when the pile of cards is empty or one of the players collects 8 blooming cacti in their collection. Participants receive victory points for each flower in their collection, as well as for sets of 4 flowers of different colors. Additionally, the player with the largest collection of red flowers receives 5 extra points.Compare the number of victory points and congratulate the winner! Game duration: from 15 minutes
