About Role-Playing Games
Role-playing games are a special and specific genre of games that allow you to literally create your own adventure on the fly and live an imagined life. You have boundless opportunities and thousands of worlds open before you!
You will fully play the role (hence the name "role-playing") of a character created according to certain rules and can do whatever you want in their place. The character can level up, become stronger, acquire equipment, etc. The boundaries of the scenario's possibilities are regulated by the game master, and the outcomes of events are determined by rolling various dice. The rulebooks for the Master and Players play a crucial role in the mechanics – they need to be not only read but also well understood.
 

The Role of the Master
One of the participants in the game is the Master, also called the game master, storyteller, or game-master. In their hands lies the power over the game's plot and world. The game story, main plot twists, key events – all of this is also developed by the Master, making their role quite creative. Since players act together and do not compete against each other, the Master serves as a link between the game world and the players. They do not play against their companions, but it is they who must set a goal and adjust the difficulty for it – arranging the strengths of monsters, placing traps and treasures, and creating a map. Additionally, in contentious situations, it is the Master who interprets the rules and resolves issues.
Victory is not the main goal in role-playing games. The main pleasure comes from the incredibly deep immersion in the game world and absolute possibilities within the universe. However, in any scenario, there is a main goal that our heroes strive for, and upon achieving it, the entire group will win.
