Romeo and Juliet. Othello

Many of Shakespeare's characters have become common nouns, entered our everyday use – but none of them can compare in this respect to the young Romeo and Juliet from medieval Verona and the stern Venetian Moor Othello, who have become symbols of great, boundless love or cruel, soul-consuming jealousy. “Romeo and Juliet” and “Othello” are not just brilliant plays. They will live as long as there are feelings of love and jealousy among people, which means – forever!
