In the Light Shadow of Summer

Tikhon cannot decide whom to stay with: his wife or his mistress. The beautiful Nastya is waiting for him to leave the boring Lika, but Tikhon continues to procrastinate, hesitating to make a decision. Suddenly, his wife dies, and he belatedly realizes that he only loved her. By a strange coincidence, the same thing happened to Lika as to her mother: she died at thirty in an accident. Tikhon suspects that these two stories are connected. He tries to make sense of them, risking becoming a new victim of a criminal who is somewhere nearby, yet remains invisible…
