From the Life of Caramel

This is his nickname – Hammerhead. Well, what kind of fish is he? Just his eyes are widely spaced. But still - a good cook, an honest man, though an idiot, as he was later characterized. He works for an oligarch named Panibratets, and his life is nothing special: from the pot – to the pan, from the pan – to the refrigerator… But one day, he was instructed to enter the boss's office, which practically no one was allowed to enter (even the cleaning of the office was done by a Japanese robot named Imamura). There, Panibratets handed him a thick envelope and ordered him to open it at midnight and without witnesses, which the poor cook did. After that, fate dragged him through the dreadful bumps of destiny from one trial to another… A cheerful, light-hearted, sometimes mischievous, sometimes kind book, in which it's simply impossible not to fall in love with the characters.
