Turkish Language. Beginner's Course

The offered beginner's course of modern Turkish literary language encapsulates the teaching experience of all its aspects, accumulated by the staff of the Department of Turkish Philology at the Eastern Faculty of St. Petersburg State University. The aim of the... textbook is to introduce the learner to the system of both inventory and structural units of the language in the predetermined course limits in the simplest and easiest way. The authors followed these principles: .studying the material from simple to complex, from easy to difficult; .communicating in the language being studied from the very first steps; .the predominance of practicing speaking skills and reinforcing the material over grammatical explanations. This is why the course begins with the simplest statements-sentences, but gradually the reader delves quite deeply into the material of the language. .
