TURKISH LANGUAGE. Beginner's Course

The beginner's course in modern Turkish literary language offered to the reader encompasses the experience of teaching all its aspects, accumulated by the staff of the Department of Turkish Philology at the Eastern Faculty of Saint Petersburg State University. The... aim of the manual is to introduce the student in the simplest and easiest way to the system of both inventory and structural units of the language within the set course limits. The authors followed the principles of: .studying the material from simple to complex, from easy to difficult; .communication in the studied language from the very first steps; .the predominance of practicing speaking skills and consolidating the material over grammatical explanations. This is why the course begins with the simplest statements-sentences, but gradually the reader delves quite deeply into the material of the language. .
