Each of them influenced not only literature but also the entire life of our country. We love these heroes, duelists, and scandalists, for their lives are far more interesting than what is stated in the school curriculum. Pushkin and Lermontov, Davydov and Baratynsky — all of them understood the value of every word they said and wrote. And most importantly — they could stand up for it.
