In the park of the small town of Flint City, the body of an eleven-year-old boy brutally murdered has been found. All evidence points to one person – Terry Maitland. A coach of the youth baseball team, an English teacher,... a husband and father of two daughters – could he really be capable of such a thing? Moreover, Terry has an irrefutable alibi: at the time of the crime, he was in another city. But how could the same person be in two places at once? Or has something appeared in the city that is capable of taking the form of any person?..
