Castle of Entwined Fates. Tavern of Entwined Fates

Two conceptually related novels, representing classics of postmodern literature, or more precisely, works in which the principles of this literature are formed. A variety of methods of divination using Tarot and hidden quotes from Mairink and Kafka. References to medieval... legends, ancient North European epics, and Buddhist philosophy, framed in the style of Italian Renaissance novellas. Calvino himself called "The Castle of Entwined Fates" and "The Tavern of Entwined Fates" "griffon books" - but they should now be considered part of the tradition of the palimpsest novel. The setup is simple - fated ladies and gallants tell about themselves and their destinies, but using not words, but Tarot spreads…
