His pen also produced historical and philosophical studies such as "The Shameful Secret of Inequality", "The Coming Attila", "Who Killed President Kennedy". All his books were reissued in Russia after the fall of communism. The second volume of his memoirs "The Connection of Times. In the New World" provides an extensive description of the life of Russian literary emigration at the end of the 20th century.
