On the Threshold

In May 2016, the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is shaken by a powerful anomalous storm. A stalker nicknamed Snail, confident in his ability to "read" the Zone through mysterious sound phenomena, finds himself among the survivors and witnesses global changes. Stalking... and scientific activity, constrained by fear and misunderstanding, gradually slow down. Along with the feeling that once connected Snail to the anomalous territory, hope fades to uncover the fates of comrades who went missing on the eve of the fateful day. However, an unexpected outcome of one of the routine outings, an offer from a scientific employee dreaming of reaching the center of the Zone, and the return of a fragment of the past put the stalker before an ambiguous choice. Leaving doubts at the threshold will be as difficult as understanding that what is lost cannot be returned.
