The neuropsychological notebook "Learning Letters" is an engaging resource for preschoolers who want to learn about letters themselves. It combines two approaches to learning – neuropsychological and game-based. Neuropsychological techniques through play will skillfully and unobtrusively awaken the child's cognitive...
interest and love for reading.
The author: A. E. Soboleva – head of the A. R. Luria Scientific Research Center for Child Neuropsychology, candidate of psychological sciences, correctional psychologist, philologist, author and co-author of more than 90 scientific and popular science articles and books.
This resource was created based on 25 years of work at the A. R. Luria Scientific Research Center for Neuropsychology and tested on a large number of children. For the simplicity of organizing lessons, all exercises are numbered and follow the same principle. This will allow non-reading children to complete them independently. Only the degree of difficulty of the tasks changes: from simple to complex. Some tasks require writing letters in alphabetical order. Since the child is just starting to learn letters, we placed the alphabet at the end of the notebook.
During lessons with this resource, the child will learn:
• to recognize, name, and correctly write letters;
• to find letters in the text;
• to identify the first letter of a word;
• to read simple syllables;
• to understand the principles of reading and writing.
Having completed this playful training, the child will subsequently be able to learn easily in school.
Recommended for children from 5 years old
