This collection is a series of psychological and mystical stories aimed at exploring the soul, as it conceals so much—fears, desires, vices. Yulia and Anastasia Lavryashina dissect the human soul so that readers can glimpse into it and find answers...
to important questions.
Yulia Lavryashina. "An Unnecessary Question"
Ulyana, an actress from well-known series, lives with her daughter and harbors a secret—no one knows who her father is. After her daughter’s birth, Ulyana's entire world shrank to just her and ceased to matter. Will she be able to preserve this island of love and tranquility, or can an actress's life remain in the shadows?
Yulia Lavryashina. "May the subjects be enlightened!"
Mark is trying to accept his father's death and learn to live without him. He becomes closed off, spending much time at home until he meets an old acquaintance of his aunt at the theater—the poet Yermolaev. Mark decides to participate in a poetry competition, which fundamentally changes his usual life.
A Collection of Stories by Anastasia Lavryashina
The collection presents stories that one should immerse oneself in headfirst to enter a mysterious, and sometimes slightly frightening, atmosphere. Here you can find tales about hunters of the undead and a strange blind girl. Mystical stories alternate with tales of real life, which turn out to be no less enigmatic.
Yulia Lavryashina is the author of over 50 works of prose for adults and children, several plays, and screenplays. She is a member of the Writers' Union of Russia and a laureate of the V. P. Krapivin International Children's Literature Prize. Together with her son, the young composer Yevgeny Lavryashin, she writes songs and musicals. The distinguishing features of her prose are a tense plot and psychological depth.
Anastasia Lavryashina is still a student but has been writing since childhood. She has been published in Moscow magazines such as "Guiding Star," where her story was recognized as the best material of the year, "Ray," and others. Now Anastasia is studying publishing at the Moscow Polytechnic University and learning directing at the film and television school "Industry" named after S. Bondarchuk. She became a finalist in the All-Russian Screenwriting Competition "Method."
