Mukesh, after the death of his wife, leads a measured lifestyle: he watches documentaries about nature, goes to the store on Wednesdays, and occasionally visits the temple. To establish communication with his granddaughter Priya, an avid reader, he goes to the local library and has no idea that his life is about to change… Schoolgirl Aleisha, an unintentional librarian, becomes the keeper of a mysterious list of eight novels she has never heard of before. Intrigued, the girl decides to follow the recommendations. Mukesh meets Aleisha, who becomes his guide in the magical world of books. Together, they navigate the list, consuming story after story, and become friends. The novels hold one small secret, and perhaps by the end of the list, Aleisha and Mukesh will discover who created it and for what purpose…
