Nina Shatskaya-Philatova 1940–2021 – honored artist of Russia, with numerous roles in theater and film. She performed in Yuri Lyubimov's productions such as "The Good Person of Szechwan," "Comrade, Believe," "The Master and Margarita," "Tartuffe," and others. In films, she is known for roles in "Welcome, or No Entry for Strangers," "Extraordinary Commission," "Visit to the Minotaur"… The real book consists of two memoirs by the actress – "Forgive… farewell, Taganka!" and "Biography of Love." The Taganka Theater became a second home for Nina Shatskaya, defining her creative destiny, gifting her wonderful colleagues and friends. Among them were Vladimir Vysotsky, Alla Demidova, Veniamin Smekhov, Felix Antipov… She left beautiful pages of memories about her husband, with whom she started working here, Valery Zolotukhin. In this theater, she met the talented artist Leonid Filatov – who was destined to become her second husband. They were connected not only by passionate love but also by a kinship of souls, a common interest in theater, cinema, and literature. She captivatingly and in detail told about the brilliant actor, poet, author of the beloved fairy tale "About Fedot the Shooter…", as well as about the almost twenty-year life of the Theater, for which tickets were purchased in advance, and all performances were met with an unchanging full house.
