Chess School. First Year of Training. Workbook

The workbook will help beginners consolidate the knowledge gained from studying the textbook "Chess School," recommended by the Russian Chess Federation. Coloring pages, puzzles, and riddles will allow lessons to be conducted in an engaging game format, gradually revealing to students the beauty and depth of chess. The main topics of the lessons include: chessboard, piece moves, initial setup, comparative value of pieces, chess notation, attack and defense, basic mating patterns, and elementary tactics. The workbook contains about 200 tasks for independent solution, including over 80 positions for checkmate in one move. For students of general education schools in the second grade and above.
