Dead Pianists

A girl named Nadia, suffering from autism, cannot find her place in life until she discovers the world of music. Finding herself an extraordinarily gifted pianist, she does not seek fame and tries to escape, through music, from her painful... reality. Like some people with Asperger's Syndrome, Nadia strives to "organize" the world in her mind and mentally compiles various lists: for example, a list of deceased pianists from her hometown or a list of students from a non-existent class. Gradually, these lists penetrate her life, mysteriously intertwining and influencing the fate of Nadia and those around her. The novel "Dead Pianists" is about the loneliness of the "person within." It is about its imagined dead world that comes to life, blending with reality. About the fact that we are all a bit "people within ourselves."
