Before you is a set of cards with various tasks for practicing words consisting of one closed syllable (words of the III class of syllabic structure, according to A. K. Markova's classification). For example: house, cat, dog. This engaging resource is intended for children aged 3 to 5 years. It will help toddlers with normal speech development, who are just transitioning from simple words to more complex words in structure, to start speaking. For older children with general speech underdevelopment of the 1st and 2nd levels, it will help to initiate speech and overcome violations of the sound-syllabic structure of the word. Moreover, the resource will promote the development of phonemic perception and analysis, thinking, concepts of color and shape of objects, attention and visual perception, spatial thinking, and graphomotor skills, as well as learning grammar and constructing sentences. The tasks become more complex with each card. The main character of our resource - cat Tom - accompanies the child on all the cards and offers them to perform exciting tasks. In doing so, the child not only pronounces the words but also performs specific actions. For this, you will need washable markers. The tasks come with instructions for the child and comments for the adult. The instructions can be adapted depending on the child's abilities. Tasks marked with an asterisk (*) are offered to children over 4 years old. During the lessons, do not focus on the clarity of pronunciation of complex sounds. The main thing is to preserve the rhythmic structure of the word.
