Love of a Gray Shade. The Oath Given to Darkness

The world of Aurora is divided into the dark and the light. The light is granted the day, the dark rules the night, and not otherwise. The former embodies the ideals of goodness and love, while the latter represents all... the most despicable vices of humanity. Once, they separated from each other, never to intersect again. Anyone who violates the rule faces death. Aurora, like all the light beings, undergoes the ritual of choosing a husband by drawing a ticket with the cherished name. However, the newly minted groom is not at all happy about the bride. Dave humbly accepts his fate, but the girl dreams of true love. Tormented by doubts, she runs away and, by chance, ends up alone on the street at night. The light being encounters the dark one, and to save her life, she gives him an oath: every night she must meet with her enemy. Their nightly conversations break stereotypes and change the perception of what is possible and what is not in this world. But what to do when nature itself opposes the fact that the light and the dark are irresistibly drawn to each other?
