The ancient Chinese treatise THE ART OF WAR, written more than two thousand years ago by the mysterious warrior and philosopher Sun Tzu, is a classic guide to strategy in conflicts of any level - from psychological rivalry to military actions. In this translation, the treatise is presented in the context of Daoist philosophy. The Daoist views on human nature, the essence of arising conflicts, and ways to resolve conflict situations allow for the application of force without coarse violence and achieving victory even before the onset of open confrontation.
