Gap year, academic year — a break in education between school and college/university. In the USA and Europe, this is quite a common practice, as enrollment in higher education institutions happens in advance, leaving first-year students with at least six... months to a year before classes start. This break is a very important time to realize your desires and goals, gain internship experience, and better prepare for the first semester in college or university. Learn to travel in a way that's beneficial to you. You don't necessarily need to have a lot of money! Spend your Gap year enjoying the beauty of the surrounding world and getting to know the cultures of different peoples. Analyze what beliefs are holding you back from starting to travel, and what fears are restraining you. This year, you will learn how to travel for free, which will help you with limited funds, and even how to earn money while traveling. Try to develop a spirit of adventure within yourself, but don't forget about health, and the balance between work and rest. Create opportunities for yourself to become better day by day!
