From Hell. Ver. 2.

Legendary writer Alan Moore and artist Eddie Campbell created one of the most significant works in all of comic culture. In the book "From Hell," Moore tells the story of Jack the Ripper, the most infamous figure in the world... of serial killers, surrounded by numerous myths and speculations. With endless elegance, Moore constructs a complex design around the Whitechapel murders consisting of Masonic conspiracies, historical parallels, mythological and artistic references – and then, with the same elegance, he dismantles it, admitting that the version of events he proposes is not the ultimate truth. In any case, "From Hell" is an impressive canvas of the life of the lower classes of London in the late 19th century and a detailed excursion into the depths of a madman’s subconscious, without which the entire twentieth century would have been different.
