From Hell. Ver. 2.

Legendary writer Alan Moore and artist Eddie Campbell created one of the most significant works in all of comic culture. In the book "From Hell", Moore tells the story of Jack the Ripper, the most infamous figure in the world of serial killers, surrounded by numerous myths and conjectures. Moore intricately builds a complex structure of Masonic conspiracies, historical parallels, mythological and artistic references around the Whitechapel murders with endless grace – and then, with the same grace, dismantles it, confessing that the version of events he offers is not the ultimate truth. Be that as it may, "From Hell" is an impressive canvas of the life of London's underbelly at the end of the 19th century and a detailed excursion into the depths of a madman's subconscious, without which the entire twentieth century would have been different.
