The Book of the Great Yasa, or the Tablets of Chinggis Khan

Against the backdrop of the most significant historical events of the era of Chinggis Khan, all stages of the formation and evolution of the state-legal system of the Great Mongol Ulus are reconstructed. The reader is presented with and commented on practically all fragments of the «Book of the Great Yasa» of Chinggis Khan that have come down to us from the depths of the ages. Special attention was paid to the military-political doctrine of Mongolian tenggerism and the new concept of international relations of the Great Mongol Ulus, as reflected in the «Book of the Great Yasa», and their implementation during the reign of Chinggis Khan from 1206 to 1227. The appendix describes the action of the «Book of the Great Yasa» in the post-Chinggisid era on the territory of Rus, which was part of the Golden Horde in the 13th-15th centuries.
