Maya Riman is having the worst summer of her life. Her best friend went off to college, a trip to Italy fell through, her parents are getting divorced, and now at her mom's insistence, she'll have to participate in campaigning for the local elections paired with some awkward guy.
Of course, spending the whole summer persuading neighbors to come to the polls is not the most enjoyable activity, but the closer the voting gets, the more intense the atmosphere at the headquarters becomes, and the more complicated Jamie and Maya's relationship grows.
