Confucius. Judgments and Conversations

Confucius is an ancient Chinese thinker whose philosophical teachings, known as "Confucianism", have gained widespread dissemination in East Asia and in China itself. An important text of his teachings is the "Lunyu" ("Judgments and Conversations"), recorded by Confucius' disciples and containing observations and sayings of the wise philosopher. "Judgments and Conversations" alongside texts such as the "Tao Te Ching" and "The Art of War" is a literary and cultural monument of Ancient China. The themes addressed in the "Lunyu" are vast and cover many aspects of life. Here too appears the famous ethical principle: "Do not do unto others what you do not wish for yourself".
