The Psychology of Western Religion

The religious issue, as one of the basic constants of human worldview, has always been an important component of Jung's research. He proposed the idea that every person is religious a priori, and religion is a special mental attitude reflecting the innate human need for piety and higher divine guidance. In the works that make up this collection, the author explores not only the metaphysics and philosophy of western religion but also examines it from a psychological perspective, presenting an original vision of the archetypal basis of Christianity and unexpected interpretations of key Christian symbols and dogmas.
