Crime and Punishment

Crime and Punishment is the highest example of a crime novel. Within the genre of detective fiction, the writer raised questions that remain unresolved to this day. What should a person be: a trembling creature, as Raskolnikov says, or a Napoleon? And this is a problem of the 21st century. Written in 1866, the novel Crime and Punishment still remains the most read book in the world and is included in most school literature programs.
