Vladimir Vysotsky believed that literary work was the main thing in his life: «... songs require colossal refinement and polishing...», they for the poet are «... not a hobby, no!». However, during his lifetime, Vysotsky's poems and songs were not published, despite the fact that readers could find limitless dignity, understanding of the human soul, and words about true love in them. Vysotsky's irony, his inability to adapt to public opinion, his ability to see the world through the eyes of people from various social strata, and the special creativity of his work make the poet's poems and songs alive, relevant, and current even now.
