“This definitely won’t happen to me,” “it’s a fantasy, this doesn’t happen in real life” – we often repeat when listening to someone else’s life story, not realizing that fate is already standing behind our shoulder, chuckling, preparing to present a surprise or planning a prank. Life sometimes reminds me of a small child – affectionate and tender, yet at the same time capricious and unbearable. Sometimes cruel and merciless, knowing no boundaries of what is permissible.
