The book "Rejoicing and Being Rejoiced" is a collection of unusual texts. In those years, when it was almost impossible to obtain spiritual books in Russia, Archimandrite Ioann (Krystyankin) distributed these typescript pages to his spiritual children for comfort and... encouragement. Although Father Ioann was not always the author of these reflections and teachings, they are undoubtedly an integral part of his spiritual experience. There were many such sheets with various content.
This book contains exactly those pieces of advice that help to live without despondency and sorrow. We preserved the accents that were made in the typescript - underlining, the writing of certain words in capital letters. This is how people received these spiritual gifts from the hands of the elder.
