Invented in Russia: The History of Russian Inventive Thought from Peter I to Nicholas II

In numerous reference books and lists of Russian inventions, three-quarters of the remarkable ideas born from domestic inventive thought are most often not mentioned, while it is found that we invented the airplane (of course not), the bicycle (also not), and the ballistic missile (by no means).

This book has two tasks: the first is to tell about the inventions made at different times by our compatriots - as objectively as possible, neither belittling nor exaggerating their merits; the second is to dispel numerous myths and historical falsifications related to the history of invention.
