The Soul of Man

In his work «The Soul of Man», Erich Fromm focused on studying the essence of evil, noting that this book is in some sense the opposite of another, perhaps his most famous book – «The Art of Loving». Reflecting on the nature of evil, he concludes that the desire to dominate almost always leads to violence, and the main danger to humanity comes not from «torturers and perverts», but from ordinary people who hold power.
