For many years, the Solin Russel family ran a wedding dress salon in Paris, where true magic happened. The bride who wore a dress from Russel was promised a happy future. But World War II turned the Solin family's life upside down... Losing faith in love, she hid her memories and shattered dreams in a box and left behind the mysterious craft.
Decades pass. Boston artist Aurora Grant, whose fiancé disappeared in Africa several months ago, tries to cope with the loss. She dreams of opening an art gallery, and her search leads her to a dilapidated building that once housed the Solin wedding salon.
