Last Bus to Woodstock. Intermediate

In the small town of Woodstock, just a few miles from Oxford, a brutal murder of a young girl takes place. Inspector Morse from the Oxford police headquarters and his assistant Sergeant Lewis are investigating the case. During the investigation,... they have to talk to people from various social strata – from university professors to truck drivers, nurses, typists, and people with unhealthy mental states; they encounter lies, evasions, and the concealment of facts. In the end, the case is solved, the killer is found and arrested, but the conclusion of the investigation does not bring joy to Inspector Morse: the perpetrator turns out to be a close person.
