The manual "Literacy Training: Reading and Retelling" is the third level of the literacy training system and speech development for preschool children and is part of the set of workbooks "Literacy Training". The diverse tasks of the manual, selected taking into account the age characteristics of 6-7-year-old children, will help: develop the skill of seamless reading in children; diversify the types of work with text; introduce children to the theoretical concepts of "sentence", "word", "syllable", "sound", "letter", "stress"; expand the active vocabulary, improve the grammatical structure and cohesive speech of children; perfect children's skills in working with word schemes; teach children to give basic characteristics of the sounds of the Russian language (vowel and consonant sounds, hard and soft consonants, voiced and voiceless); continue work on developing writing skills.
