Once, in a time when mammoths still walked the earth, a young hunter named Kenai angered the spirits by killing the bear whose totem he bore. Then they turned him into a bear. Now Kenai cannot communicate with people, and even his own brother does not recognize him in this new form. The hunter must look at the world from the other side and find his own path.
