20 Oral Topics in French for Schoolchildren

This educational manual is designed for middle school students (grades 6-9) in general education schools where French is not the main subject. The book is intended for the initial stage of oral speech training; however, it assumes that students have developed basic lexical and grammatical skills.

The manual contains 20 chapters dedicated to everyday topics. The chapters are united by a recurring character, from whose perspective the texts are composed, but they are not interconnected, which allows for a free order of study.
Listening to an audio recording made by a native speaker will help master correct French pronunciation and intonation, and will develop auditory perception of speech.
