Slavs and Saxons against the Frankish Empire. Pressure on the East. Beginning

The Ruya, Obodrites, Luticians, Pomeranians, Smolenshchiki, and Vaghri, Dolenchans, and Lusatian Serbs... Even among Russian people, few know about these Slavic tribes that inhabited the territories of modern Germany and Poland until the 12th century. All of them belonged to the civilization of the Baltic Slavs, the most developed in Europe by the 8th century.
