Russian literature of the late 20th century did not manage to answer the question: what happened to our people? Why did he easily surrender to the swindlers and adversaries the achievements of the two previous generations? It did not manage... to, choking in the near-literary and, especially, journalistic bacchanalia of the “Ogonyok” and “Moscow Komsomolets”; the voices of Russian patriots drowned out, and those few who were heard were immediately distorted and vilified.
The works offered to you attempt to fill this gap - they are written “from nature”, in the 1980s, but the author still returns to the reflection of that decade. The novel “The Return of the Eagle” and the story “Island of SSO,” which were published recently by our publishing house, are a confirmation of this.
