Mikhail Alekseyevich Kuzmin (1872, or, according to his personal mythology, 1875-1936) - a recognized Russian poet, musician, and composer, one of the most unusual figures of the Russian Silver Age.

"Scorpion" in 1910. The collection included the novella that made Kuzmin famous throughout the country - "Wings." A. Block called Kuzmin's "Wings" - marvelous, GumiLev considered the best story to be "Aunt Sonya's Couch." However, all of Mikhail Kuzmin's early prose should be recognized as crystal, pure, platonic, and beautiful. Readers forever bestowed the title of "king of aesthetes" upon the author.
