Euclidean Space.

The great Russian artist Kuzma Sergeyevich Petrov-Vodkin (1878-1939) was also an extraordinary writer. "Euclidean Space" is the second part of the master's autobiography. Here Petrov-Vodkin "flies out of the nest" of Kholm and tells how he, a simple village boy, became an artist. This is a recollection of his youth and his most famous teachers and their friends: Serov, Korovin, Larionov, Levitan, Vrubel, and many others. After his studies and early works, Kuzma Sergeyevich recounts his trips abroad in 1905-1908. He narrates vividly, noting everything that was happening in the bubbling European cultural life, as if in the mouth of Vesuvius.
